DigitalExpert™ is a powerful Sheridan preflight tool that quickly analyzes digital art files upon submission.

Using DigitalExpert™, author-supplied digital art is preflighted and either immediately approved based on publisher specifications, or, if problems are detected, DigitalExpert™ generates detailed information and guidelines for correcting "problem" art.

How does it work? Using a Web-based link, you or your authors can submit up to 10 files at a time for checking. Files are uploaded and referenced against more than 150 checkpoints. The system emails you or the author a link to a report that details the integrity of your art and how to correct problems, if they exist.

DigitalExpert™ is a complimentary service to all Dartmouth Journal Services customers, and is also a fully integrated benefit for users of Bench>Press (HighWire Press), Manuscript Central (ScholarOne) and Editorial Manager (Aries Systems). Any author can upload and check art with DigitalExpert™.
